I love a good blue-brown duochrome and this is the most user friendly one I have.

This is like a pressed version of the classic MAC Blue-Brown pigment but without all the fall out. I like pairing this with cool toned looks, it's a bit cooler and smoother (less chunky?) than Retrospeck. This is from my most recent MAC purchase. It's great for a subtle shimmer and definition on the eye, it's a bit cooler than Soba. This is a shade I had for a long time that I thought was a bit of a dud until I started using it in place of Soba. MAC Patina: Purchased Dec 2017 hit pan Apr 2021. It's my absolute favourite one-and-done shade. This is another repurchased shade for me! I've slowed my roll on this one a bit because it's been discontinued and I don't have a backup. MAC Soba: Purchased Dec 2019 hit pan Dec 2020. It pairs nicely with neutrals that are slightly warm and slightly cool so if I don't know what to wear this is what I'll usually reach for. This shade is my perfect everyday lid shade. MAC Retrospeck: Purchased Dec 2017 hit pan June 2019. I love this shade so much for inner corner and face highlight. This is my second pan of Nylon! I got my first one with my first MAC purchase. MAC Nylon: Purchased Feb 2020 hit pan Apr 2021. The formula is a bit drier than I'm used to from my MAC shades and can be a little patchy if you don't build it up enough. It wasn't my preferred shade when I first got it because it's so warm but as I've gotten more into warm tones, I've started to appreciate this shade. This shade took me a long time to come around to. MAC Saddle: Purchased Dec 2016 hit pan Feb 2021. This works particularly well with my ABH Soft Glam palette because the orange transition shades in that palette pull creamsicle orange on me most of the time. I use this similarly to Wedge except in instances where I need something a bit warmer. MAC Cork: Purchased Nov 2016 hit pan Mar 2019. It pairs really well with Retrospeck for my everyday work look but I'd use it a lot with palettes that didn't have my perfect transition shade. This has been my go-to transition shade for a long time. MAC Wedge: Purchased Dec 2017 hit pan Mar 2019.

If I need to contour my face, this does the trick. It's not my favourite these days as I typically opt for something a bit deeper and warmer, but it's still a classic. I like how light and cool it is, especially since I got this when warm tones were hitting their peak. This was one of my first eyeshadows and was my favourite transition shade for a very long time. MAC Omega: Purchased before I started tracking my makeup purchases hit pan Dec 2018. I swear they all feel/smell/look the same. Also while writing this I realized just how old some of my shadows are, please don't judge me.
